These General Terms & Conditions are being applied to bookings made personally using the worldwide Travgate.com reservation system.

Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.Access to Travgate.coms website is strictly controlled by our back office and reserves the right to change, modify, substitute or suspend or remove without notice any information or service from time to time.

Travgate.com acts as agent only in respect of all bookings we make on your behalf.Travgate.com accepts no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any accommodation that you book or for the acts or comissions of any accommodation or other person(s) or party(ies) connected with your booking. For all bookings your contract will be with the accommodation provider concerned. The accommodation providers booking conditions will be applied to your contract and prices. Cancellation conditions shall be displayed when making each reservation, dependant on prevailing conditions, availability and other factors.

The website will guide you through the booking procedure. Each booking that you make through this website is conditional on you accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the legal statement and Privacy Policy (the "Terms").

The Terms form an integral part of our website and cannot be separated from the general contracting conditions, operations or reservations. By visiting, using or ordering from the website Travgate.com, you expressly consent and agree to be bound by the Terms and all applicable International laws and regulations that govern this website and your booking.

If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms, you must not proceed with your booking.

If there is any part of these terms that you do not fully understand, or if you have a query about our products or services, please contact the Travgate.com customer services directly.

 

 

 

1.Modification of Terms and Conditions

Hotels advertised on Travgate.com website are able to make improvements or changes to the information, elements, data, services, and other materials on this website, or terminate at any time without notice.
Travgate.com is also able to modify the Terms at any time, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms on this website. Accordingly, your continued use of or access to this website will be deemed to indicate your acceptance of the modified Terms.
Travgate.com is able to suspend access to website, due to maintenance works, net security reasons or force majeure, with no obligation to reimburse or compensate you for the period in which access was suspended.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.How to book your accomodation

2.1.-
Simply search within the requested destination and dates, select your preferred accommodation provider and proceed to the final reservation page after making sure that you have given us your email address, reachable telephone number, address and valid credit card details

2.2.-
Please make sure you check the dates, price, destination and the accomodation provider details carefully before proceeding with your booking request. Any information entered into our payment page is securely encrypted during transaction and Travgate.coms site is verified by SSL. For more details on this area, please refer to our Security policy.

2.3.-
By making your booking, you are confirming that all guests inserted in the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other guests inserted in the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due to us.

2.4.-
If you made booking for a hotel which is on request , you will be notified via an e-mail within 24 to 72 hours after placing your order and you will not be charged until your booking gets confirmed. We will do our best to suggest you an alternative hotel if there is no availability.

2.5.-
After we confirm your booking you will receive a confirmation email that will contain a link to a voucher for your hotel stay which should be retained and printed so it can be presented to the accommodation provider on arrival. Please check the accommodation voucher carefully as soon as you receive it and contact the Travgate.com customer services immediately if any information on the accommodation voucher or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete. As Travgate.com acts only as an agent we will have no responsibility for any errors in any documentation except where those errors were made by Travgate.com in which case Travgate.com will correct the documentation and inform the accommodation provider appropriately

2.6.-
If special requests are accepted by the accommodation provider, a section will appear on the Reservation Form to insert such requests and submit them to the hotel. The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because they will depend on the hotel availability.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Whats included in your booking

The basic accommodation cost includes the following:

Accommodation, meals and any other services as stated on your accommodation booking voucher

All obligatory accommodation establishment service charges and taxes

The quoted room rate is per room per night. The rate will reflect the number of persons you entered on the Search Form. The number of traveller depends on your selection.

 

4. Whats not included in your booking

The basic accommodation cost does not include: Transfers between airport and accommodation except confirmed. Excursions and other personal expenditure Charges that accommodation establishments or apartments may make for facilities such as cots, parking, minibus services, sun beds, sauna, tennis courts and equipment, porters etc.

 

5.Rooms

Generally hotels tend to place their bedrooms within four different categories :
Standard - Superior - Deluxe - Executive

The actual differences between the bedrooms varies from one hotel to another, with executive being the highest standard of room.
Single Room
A single room is designed to accommodate one person only. The room contains one single bed or twin bed.
Double Room
A double room is designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains one queen bed or king size bed or if not available a twin bed.
Twin Room
A twin room is also designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains two single beds or if not available a king size bed.
Family Rooms There are two main types of family rooms, as follows:
Triple Room
A triple room is designed to accommodate three people only. The room will contain either:
One queen and one single bed-Three single beds Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form.
Quad Room
A quad room is designed to accommodate four people only. The room will contain either:
Two queen beds-One queen and two single beds-Four single beds Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form. We can also assist you in seeking accommodation that can accommodate more than four people in a room. Please specify the number of people in your party when completing your reservation request form.
Note that all kinds of room category are on request and depend on room availability.

 

6.Children

Child prices and other conditions relating to children are agreed upon with each accommodation provider and are not based on any one criteria; therefore, given that each accommodation provider applies its own special conditions and prices, we ask that you enquire about this point when making your booking.

Children between 0-4 years are free of charge unless otherwise advised and for the children between the ages of 4-10 a discounted rate will apply.

While many are able to organize extra beds and/or cots in your room, please note that we cannot guarantee any requests as they are subject to availability and should be honored by the hotel. Please contact the hotel prior to your arrival to see if it is possible. You will find the hotel contact details on your confirmation e-mail.

 

7.Extra Beds

Accommodation providers may have no, or limited numbers of, extra beds so the ability to provide a third bed will subject to availability. In some cases, hotel may have a bunk bed or a rollaway bed as an extra.

Any request for an extra bed must be made at the time of booking and if the accommodation is unable to meet any such request, neither Travgate.com nor the accommodation provider, will have any liability to you in this respect.

 

8.Failure to honour the booking(No Show)Cancellation&No show procedure

a. Any cancellation made before the option date is acceptable with the condition that CANCELLATION FEE of 20 EUR is to be deducted from your credit card automatically for cost of banking fee and administration fee.We apply this procedure in order to avoid abuse of the free reservation system and prevent hotels being over burdened with unnecessarily made wrong bookings. We aim to be at your service more efficiently instead of dealing with incorrect bookings. As you agree not to use this Website or its contents for any commercial purpose; make any speculative, false, or fraudulent reservation or any reservation in anticipation of demand

b. If your booking does not accept any cancellations because of special events or hot deal occupancy, it will be considered as definite and become nonrefundable. In these cases, the total amount will be fully charged as penalty fee and refunds won't be guaranteed.

c. No Show For whatever reason, if you do not turn up at the accommodation on the arrival date stated on your accommodation voucher without informing Travgate.com before the deadline of your booking, this shall be considered as no show cancellation which means at least %100 of the first night of the total reservation amount.

 

9.Refunds & Partial Refund

Please note that refunds will be made in the form of a credit to your card account. All credit card refunds will be processed in a timely manner. Typically, this process takes several weeks (business days) for the instruction to leave our company account. The refunds process depends on your billing cycle with the cooperated credit card company. Once the refunded amount leaves our company account, it may take up to two months time for the proceeds to appear back in your account.

10.Payment Details

At the time of your booking request, the full quoted amount will be blocked / authorised on your credit card. Only when the booking is confirmed will the credit card be charged (for Instant Availability bookings this is at the time of the booking request). Payment transactions on the Travgate.com website are encrypted by a secure payment system endorsed by some of the world's leading banks and our site is verified by SSL This technically secure environment ensures that credit card details cannot be intercepted and are not revealed to anyone other than to financial institutions required to process payment instructions from the customer.

Our payment system currently accepts the following credit card types:
-Visa
-Master Card
Please note There is a cancellation fee charge, to use our booking service for hotel reservations.
In some instancesTravgate.com shall send by email the Credit Card Data Authorisation form; you must return the completed Credit Card Data Authorisation form to Travgate.com by fax or email along with a copy of the cardholder's passport and credit card showing the signatures in order to confirm and conclude the booking process. Where this has been requested, the booking shall not be considered confirmed until Travgate.com has received the authorization. The procedure is designed for security of our customer's and our company's which in order to avoid any fraudulent reservations

11.Your reservation detail is not seen in the hotel registry.

Please note that while your booking has been confirmed and guaranteed, the rooming list with your name may not be adjusted in the hotels reservation system until prior to arrival up to 3 days. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us via the email or phone for futher clarification.

 

12.Shortened /Extended Stay

Please get a confirmation letter stamped from your hotel that you have early checked out !!!

If you wish to extend your reservation please contact our customer service by mail or phone in able to get very reasonable than the hotel can offer you.

 

13.Miscellaneous, Content Liability

Since Travgate.com will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, and effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation providers as your no-record & mismatch and system failure due to uncontrolled software and system error.

Accuracy of the information or for any facilities that may or may not be available at the hotel during your stay.

Travgate.com to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and in particular the place where the accommodation provider is located as well as the country of origin of Travgate.com and other unforeseeable causes beyond Travgate.com's control.

No record or mismatch policy
Travgate.com acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider and therefore cannot accept any liability for any loss or damages caused by the acts, omissions or negligence of any accommodation provider. Your contract for the accommodation is directly with the accommodation provider concerned.

Please follow the procedure below:
Contact first with Hotels Reservation Manager at the hotel so that the situation can be resolved straightaway. If the hotel is still unable to find your booking, you must contact us at one of the numbers given on your accommodation voucher. Travgate.com shall make every reasonable effort to make our customers satisfied.

 

14.Complaints

In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain or experience any problems with your accommodation please inform the accommodation reception staff or management immediately,to enable them to take appropriate action.

If you are not satisfied with the solutions offered, please contact Travgate.com customer services, while you are at the accommodation, and we will offer all reasonable assistance to try and rectify the situation to your satisfaction.
Travgate.com acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider and therefore cannot accept any liability for any loss or damages caused by the acts, no record, mismatch omissions or negligence of any accommodation provider. Your contract for the accommodation is directly with the accommodation provider concerned.
Travgate.com do not take any responsibility if you leave the hotel without having our confirmation due to your complaints about room or hotel.
Travgate.com does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of the negligence.

 

15.Privacy and Security policies

Please refer to our Privacy Statement for details on our Privacy and Security policies.
For secure on line payment, we use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to ensure the privacy of the information provided to us. At no time are your credit card details transmitted unencrypted over the internet.
We have the outmost respect for your privacy and security. We never divulge any information in our fully encrypted database account to anyone without your consent. Once you enter our reservations system to book a reservation, you are automatically taken into a secure booking engine that guarantees a safe and smooth transaction.
We are very confident about the Internet security provided by Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL). The security features built into Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator,Firefox,Opera, Safari, and AOL, protect your Internet communications with server authentication, privacy using encryption, and data integrity.
The credit card information and personal details we ask you to submit are the minimum details required to process your hotel reservation. We use a digital certificate is proof that our site has passed stringent security tests. All our credit card transactions use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encryption so you can be assured that the information you send to Travgate.com cannot be intercepted or decrypted by anyone else and that it is totally secure. Our website will use cookies to track our performance. All the information we collect is in aggregate and we do not collect any personal information without your full knowledge and permission.

 

16.Tax policy

Please be informed that all taxes will be included.
The percentage of tax may depends on your destination.
Travgate.com wont be responsible from any extra tax charges made directly from hotel.
